In My Own Words…

I truly love working at CBV. It feels like home to me. The love, gratitude, and smiles from our residents make every day brighter. I often tell my colleagues  and supervisors that this place feels like Walt Disney World—because everyone is committed to giving 100%, and there is such a positive, welcoming energy throughout.

Every time I walk the hallways, I am warmly greeted by residents, associates, and visitors. It fills my heart in a way that words can hardly describe. One moment that meant so much to me was after I returned from four days off—on a Wednesday morning, a group of residents was having breakfast, and they started clapping when they saw me. My eyes filled with tears, and I felt so appreciated and loved.

Experiences like that remind me why I am so committed to what I do. I strive every day to provide excellent service and create meaningful moments when serving our residents. I want them to not only enjoy their meals, but to feel valued, cared for, and remembered.
