Connect to Community
There’s always something going on at Central Baptist Village for residents to take part in, whether it’s tai chi or chair aerobics, choir practice, a game of trivia, a crafting project, a piano and violin performance, or Wii Bowling. But life is more than attending a single excursion or event; it’s about life enrichment and celebration.
What makes our community truly special is how our programs and activities successfully bring people together to encourage, appreciate, honor, engage with, and lift up one another. Some of our unique programs include Dream Adventures, where we turn a resident’s wish into a reality. Residents and staff also host events for the public, including car shows, craft fairs, and lawn parties for Grandparent’s Day. Our intergenerational programs and events bring residents together with local schools, scout groups, church groups, and even the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Every day, throughout the community and across all settings and levels of care, our Life Enrichment staff creates and supports resident-directed programming that works to nourish minds, bodies, and spirits. This is always central to our approach to well-being—and what makes our community a home for life.
