In My Own Words…

I have been very fortunate to have spent the last decade working and growing at Central Baptist Village. I started as a young frontline employee who quickly came to the realization that there was something very special about this industry and specifically CBV. It’s remarkable to see so many peoples’ values align and genuine smiles throughout the day, all working towards the same goal. Growing up, listening to my grandmother talk about her own life was one of my favorite pastimes- how getting wrapped up in someone’s storytelling somehow slowed time and gave perspective.

This will be my sixth position with the company and when asked what has kept me my answer has always remained true: the people. Whether it’s the staff, the residents, volunteers or visitors – we keep the village spirit alive!
